STRONG MUSCLES = STRONG IMMUNE SYSTEM

Did you know that regular resistance training can have a positive effect on your overall health?

Activate your body's natural defense system and boost your immunity.

When you resistance train your muscles release messengers called Myokines.  These protect against diseases, support the formation of new blood vessels, have anti-inflammatory properties, “act as fuel” for our immune system and help you lead a physically fit and active life.

With conventional training, there is a risk of overload, and thus, an extended immune-suppression time window.  In particular, “boot camp” style training programmes can be risky.

BUT... with our new Immunity Boost programme allows you to strengthen your muscles as well as your body’s defences, promoting overall health.

With our Immunity Boost programme the training stimuli is controlled very precisely, which ensures the minimum training stimuli necessary for muscle growth as well as the release of myokines. Every phase of the programme is designed to increase strength and boost immunity.

Improve Your Resilience to Disease

Training in a targeted manner to support your immune system is one way of strengthening your body’s defenses in the time of corona virus.  Strength training however, can also have a positive effect on your general state of health, even in the case of pre-existing condition such as underlying diseases like high blood pressure, coronary heart disease, obesity, Type II diabetes and pulmonary diseases.  All of which can increase the risk of suffering a severe form of the disease in the event of infection.

Our Brand New Immunity Boost Programme

In response to the current pandemic we have a brand new programme designed using the latest sports science research to boost the production of Myokines in the the muscles.  Myokines are hormonal messengers that are released in the muscles and can boost the bodies natural defences.

Did you know that resistance training is associated with a 20% reduction in all cause mortality and a 43% reduction in cancer mortality?

There's a reason that the American College of Sports Medicine and The World Health Organisation recommend at least 2 sessions of progressive strength training a week!

My journey at Inspire began nearly 2 years ago, I was pushing the wrong side of 45 and although not too overweight and fairly active, I was not at all body confident.

Well I have just come back from Mallorca and for the first time in 20 years I put on a bikini (size 10 I add ) and felt great. In fact I never even wore shorts until this year.

I want to thank all my ladies not just Ruth, Jenna, Carolin and Di who are amazing and support, inspire and kick some, but also to every single one of you ladies who make me laugh, sweat with me and give me that look when I need to up my game ( you know who you are 🤣)

The mixture of strength training, boot camp, HIIT classes , boxing and workout challenges means I am never bored, then add the food mini challenges and the best bunch of girlies you can ever meet and it makes it so easy.

Thank you to each and every one of you. You truly inspire 💋💋💋
